Transmission and distribution overhead lines crossing

Electricity transmission lines can cross or run adjacent to electricity distribution lines which can cause problems when transmission lines need to be re-conducted.

To avoid switching off the distribution lines when transmission lines are re-conducted, cables are often buried underground. This can be a costly and lengthy process and so this DNO is actively seeking innovative solutions to this problem.

Can you help our distribution network operator (DNO) partner find an alternative to burying diversion cables underground?
