Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is introducing constraint managed zones (CMZ) into its every day network operations.
A CMZ is a geographic region served by an existing network where network requirements related to network security of supply are met through the use of flexibility services, such as demand side response, energy storage and stand-by generation.
SSEN is launching a procurement process to identify a supplier and determine a most economically advantageous tender for the provision of CMZ.
For additional information about this opportunity click here: Constraint Management Zones (CMZ)
Suppliers are invited to complete a PQQ, for inclusion in a second stage tender for the provision of CMZ services.
To request access to the PQQ please call the Energy Innovation Centre on 0151 348 8040 and quote the reference number DNO-16-06.
The closure date for return of the PQQ is the 9th January 2017.
Please note office open hours are between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and the office will be closed 26th December to 30th December.
