Low Voltage Monitoring and Flexibility (Rural and Sub-urban Networks)

Our distribution network partner (DNO) is looking to create a more flexible network in sub-urban and rural areas – can you help?

UK DNOs are currently seeing an increase in demand and generation on low voltage networks. To tackle the problem, overhead lines, cables and transformers are often replaced before the end of their useful life by larger equivalents.

For additional information about this opportunity click here: EIC Call for Innovation: DNO-16-05 Low Voltage Monitoring and Flexibility (Rural and Sub-urban Networks)

The DNO would like to receive proposals for equipment and systems that could be used to provide monitoring, meshing and additional control on rural and sub-urban networks.

This is the latest in a series of calls for innovation, managed by the EIC, which offers innovators the opportunity to register interest and propose potential solutions to targeted energy distribution sector problems.

If you have an idea or a solution that can help, register your interest by calling us on 0151 348 8040 and quoting the reference number DNO-16-05 or by completing the form below.

The deadline for registering initial interest in this call is Wednesday 9th November 2016.
