Internal Inspection of Smaller Diameter High Pressure Pipelines

The latest in a series of Calls for Innovation seeks potential solutions to a problem area identified by one of our GDN partners, focussing on the inline inspection (ILI) of High Pressure (HP) steel gas pipelines.

This Call for Innovation seeks to determine whether, via a focused programme, pipeline inspection practices, tools, and systems could be developed and integrated with cost effective access and egress systems to enable an overall inspection system for shorter length and smaller diameter HP steel pipeline sections.

More information about this opportunity can be found here.

The network operators are completely open to ideas and approaches to solve this challenge.  Potential solutions can range from one single idea to several innovations that complement each other.

To register initial interest and request an expression of interest form please call the Energy Innovation Centre on 0151 348 8040 and quote the reference number Call GDN-17-02
